(Washington, D.C.) Don’t go with the flow this summer—do the opposite and it could pay off. That’s what Capital Bikeshare will be telling its members soon. The regional bikesharing network is launching a Reverse Rider Rewards competition on June 1 to support the system’s rebalancing and redistribution efforts.

Crazy Backed Up Traffic On Rock Creek Parkway

Crazy Backed Up Traffic On Rock Creek Parkway

There was a ridiculous traffic back-up on Rock Creek Parkway this morning, headed in the direction of Maryland.

Check out this photo that I snapped while driving(apologies if they're not great).  This picture don't even really do the length of the back-up justice.

It was a really, absurdly long line of bumper to bumper, presumably because of construction.

Were you stuck in that traffic this morning?  If you were...how bad was it?

Rock Creek Parkway Construction Continues On

Rock Creek Parkway Construction Continues On

Okay, so I know it's been going on for a while now, but I'm becoming officially sick and tired of this Rock Creek Parkway construction.

It feels as though the roadwork has been going on for years now, and every time I drive down Rock Creek it seems as though the area that they're working on has somehow expanded.

The amount of cones and construction markers that litter the road is insane, and cuts driving space in half.

Is this construction starting to drive you nuts, like it is to me?  Is your commute taking a lot longer recently because of the construction?

Let us know.  Fill out our poll and sound off in our comments section below.

DooWop Talent...On A Metro Platform?

DooWop Talent...On A Metro Platform?

I'm sure many of you have already encountered After The Storm, as this certainly isn't breaking news, but I figured a video of the group was warranted.

Plus, we want to get your opinion on their musical abilities.

For those of you who don't know After The Storm, they are a group of four men, generally dressed in Washington Redskin jerseys, that sing old school DooWop music on Metro platforms to entertain people who are waiting on trains.

Check out the video above, taken at Metro Center, which features the group singing songs like "My Girl" and explaining why they always wear Redskin jerseys to perform.

What do you think about the group?  We want to know.
