Pet of the Week: Wedgie

(WUSA9) -- Washington Animal Rescue League has a new pet of the week: Wedgie.

Despite his less-than-dignified name, this 5-year-old Tuxedo cat is quite the gentleman, says WARL. He's a "lap cat" who loves human companionship and would enjoy nothing more than cuddling on the couch while watching a good movie. He's not especially fond of other felines, preferring to have his person all to himself.

Due to his age (5 years or older), Wedgie's adoption fee will be waived for adopters 50 or over as part of our Boomers' Buddies program.

Are you interested in Wedgie? Then, visit warl.org to see how you can adopt him.
