2 sought in attempted sexual assault of juvenile

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police are looking for two persons of interest in an attempted sexual assault against a juvenile female.

Police say the girl was walking in the back of the 7400 block of 9th Street NW on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. when two males approached her. One of them pushed the girl to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her, say police. She had property taken from her before both suspects fled, according to police.

Police say the first suspect is described as a black male, dark complexion, 5'9" to 5'10" tall, between 16 and 21 years old. He was last seen wearing unknown colored pants, black jacket, black skull cap, and black glasses. The second suspect is described only as a black male.
